They sound pretty good! Steampunk music is a little less piratey than I imagined though, granted this is the first time I've even heard Steampunk music .

Hehe.. nice! Well me being me, I was planning on posting some tube music that I felt matched the mood of whatever was going on in the story. Over the last few weeks I've found a lot of really great tracks for the purpose. Now I don't want to color anyone's perception of the what the game should be like, but if I had to pick some songs for a soundtrack, I think they'd be: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-64CaD8GXw&feature=relatedand www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWD7loMKonMThe 2nd one because... while steampunk as a genre is sort of silly and explodey, there's also sort of an elegance to the era and the machines that I like.. and I'll be trying to bring that out a little through my storytelling... As best I can anyway. ...And yep you'll be hearing a lot of orchestral versions of modern songs, too. ;D

Hehe... I would be lying directly out of my ass if I said Firefly didn't have a fair-to-middling influence on this project. >.>
Damn I like that red dead track, too.

okay back on topic... here's my 2 cents (by which i mean two tracks): can't do anything in this genre without Voltaire. but maybe that's just me...the Abney Park track reminded me that Voltaire did a whole seafaring album, and sea pirates, air pirates, same diff... or the dresden dolls for that matter... and on that note (thanks to a tool called Dirpy, i've compiled all the tracks into a soundtrack for your listening (and downloading) pleasure. any other suggestions/additions and I can add those in as well. yeah, Dirpy is effing awesome. There's so much on YouTube that you can't get a straight mp3 of elsewhere that it's a pretty awesome tool. And the bitrate isn't too bad most of the time, either.

Hun, some nice tracks there.. -slightly off topic- Bumped into this today, and since you're into Red Dead (I still haven't played it yet) thought I'd share: Just a remix of an original but I thought it was pretty keen... Voletron knows how to put a damn track together. >.>
