+Maintenance
(Unless Daily maintenance is performed, the Condition of all compartments will decrease by 1 per day. This will not cause a malfunction, however)
(If the character performing the Maintenance's [Repair+Mechanical]/2] is higher than the total number of compartments on the vessel, all compartment damage is prevented. If not, then condition damage equal to the difference between the numbers is applied to compartments randomly around the ship (using the side hit table)
More than 1 person can be assigned this duty if necessary.
---
+Piloting
If the person piloting has less than 10 Piloting skill, there is a 1% chance per day for every point below 10 that they'll suffer some sort of mishap.
If a piloting error happens, roll D100:
[1-29:] Turbulence (All Crew makes a [D100 + Agility vs. Diff 50] to avoid taking 1 damage from a wildly bucking ship)
[30-59:] Overspeed (Use the Front hit table to determine a compartment. Targeted compartment takes D100/10 Condition damage. This can cause a malfunction.)
[60-100:] Engine malfunction (Causes a D100 Malfunction in a random engine compartment)
-----
+Navigation
[D100+Piloting] Vs. [Difficulty 20] A failed roll means becoming lost and wasting a day's worth of travel time and fuel.
If no navigator, the roll becomes [D100] Vs. [Difficulty 20]
---
+Lookouts
[D100+ Spot] Vs. [Difficulty set by GM]
Ship detection at long range: [D100 + Spot] Vs. [Ship Bulk * 2]
Ship detection at medium range [D100 + Spot] Vs. [Ship Bulk * 4]
Ship detection at close range [D100 + Spot] Vs. [Ship Bulk * 8]
----
+Cleaning
Morale loss is [# of crew] - [# people on cleaning duty x 10]
The morale loss stacks, I.e. if it is -3 at the end of one day, and the next day -3 again, the total negative modifier will be -6.
The maximum negative bonus per day is -20
-----
Travel Phase checklist:
------------
+Take captain's orders and assign duty stations+
+Apply -10 standard Morale Drop (+1 per day on ship)
+Apply Duty Morale Drop
+Apply Food bonus
+Apply Liquor morale bonus (and roll penalty)
+Apply Entertain bonus
+Apply effects from maintenance rolls
+Apply effects from Cleaning Rolls (negative morale bonus if applicable)
+Roll Navigation Check
+Piloting Check (If pilot is below 10 piloting)
+ Roll Spot checks (Incoming and outgoing)
+ Calculate fuel consumption
+ Apply Bunk Morale Bonus (if sot check passes with no events)
