Name: [ Eagle MK I ] #Batteries: [ 2 ]--x4--> Energy: [ 8 ] #Reactors: [ 8 ]-------> Regen: [ 8 ] #Engines: [ 4 ]-----------------x50------------------>Thrust: [ 200 ] #Comp.: [ 27 ] + Width Penalty:[ 10 ]---------->Drag: [ 37 ] [Thrust] / [Drag]--------> Movement: [ 5 ] This craft is designed as a sort of sniper ship. Keep far away from danger and either pick off stragglers or shatter a particular ship's shields. It could be improved, in fact expect an improved version soon.

Since you have room for 3 more compartments, you might as well bolt on two more engines and an extra battery. A bit more speed never hurts, and adding them won't make it any easier to hit.

well you could make it harder to hit but then it would be brick shaped. (move the two current engine groups one up and one to each side, and 2 more engines where the current are right now and push the shield forward one with a battery.

Could have sworn I'd posted the updated version... This improved version has back-up capacitors and some additional defences, plus some things have been moved around, so a lucky shot is less likely to blow everything up. Name: [ Eagle MK II ] #Batteries: [ 3 ]--x4--> Energy: [ 12 ] #Reactors: [ 8 ]-------> Regen: [ 8 ] #Engines: [ 4 ]-----------------x50------------------>Thrust: [ 200 ] #Comp.: [ 30 ] + Width Penalty:[ 10 ]---------->Drag: [ 40 ] [Thrust] / [Drag]--------> Movement: [ 5 ]

I like it, looks like a good ship to have in the back lines. Guard the carriers and missile boats while sniping whoever's in range.
Surrounding the bridge with reactors does make me a little nervous, though.

Honestly, it's probably the safest place, any other configuration would result in either fewer compartments to go through or a reactor on the outside. Plus it'll be like putting a spike on the steering wheel, the pilot will always be extra careful. Finally I think it looks nicer, then again I do have the flamberge kicking around somewhere...
