As much as I'd like to keep harassing Reds 2 through 4, I think I need to give Artype something to think about before she gets any closer. Scarab only needs 2 more moves to retreat and Wendigo is down to one gun, so I think RED1 needs my attention the most.

let him go i'm gonna try to make them think we are only here for wasp, should cause us less problems later. By the way i've posted a redesigned brick that is based on the hard sciences and realities of the ssd world. it is HereBLU2 transmit on broad frequency "good, leave, not after you, get. Now Wasp, come follow the flying brick, come on you know we won't stop chasing you after what you did."

So you just have to launch two, move or turn so the squares to your port and starboard aren't occupied, launch two more, etc.
And I'm just now realizing that I never tweaked the Kite after those changes to fighter rules. It could probably afford to swap two of those fighter bays for interceptors, for a little more anti-remote action.

Fighters C and F Follow Fighter A so that you will be at F27 and G27 at the end of your movement.
Fighters B, D and E Repeat what Fighters A C and F just did so that you'll end up at E25, F25 and G25.
After movement has been completed, Fighters A through E will Fire upon RED3's Right Flank..
Fighter G Move South 4 Move East 5 You should barely be able to fire upon RED3's Right Flank, please do so.
Fire upon RED3, may as well focus all fire on him afterall.

Alas, you can only go in the direction your ship is facing, so unless you would rather change your orders I will amend them to: >Turn right 2 >Forward 3 (B-17) Also, fighters have had their movements lowered to 9. (from 10) Sorry, a lot if stuff like this will change pretty frequently. I'll snip of the last movement off of your orders. I also haven't had time to parse the fighters' moves yet, so you may want to amend them in case they were meant to be shooting from a final position they will no longer be at. ------------------------------------------------ BLU2 Move 8 forward Turn starboard 1 Move 1 forward Fire all 4 prow laser cannons into wendigo (preferably his rear) Restore front shields to 2 Move 1 forward Some issues here: You are using 11 movement (8F+1R+1F+1F) so that last forward movement will fall off. Unless I am looking at something wrong, your position when you fire should be at H-28 facing south, which puts R3 in your Right Firing arc so your forward batteries would not be able to hit it.

Moving Forward 7 down 1 puts you at (H-27) which means R3 is then in your dead zone: And cannot be engaged by cannons. I think you have a shot if you just go 7E, but it'll be against the right side instead of the rear.

Aw, he got away. I thought I had Artype when I saw it was knocked down to 4 move, but I guess you only have to make it to the edge of the map to retreat, instead of needing 1 extra move to fly over the edge. Oh well, that rule might end up saving me later on. Let's try shooting Wasp in the engines, maybe we'll get lucky. Although I probably won't make it over in time to help.. Aw, he got away. I thought I had Artype when I saw it was knocked down to 4 move, but I guess you only have to make it to the edge of the map to retreat. No, as it turns out I wasn't paying attention. =P Artype lost an engine to one of your fighters which brouh him down to 5 movement, and then later lost another to one Hurlant's fighter to bring him down to 4, but somehow 5 was the number that suck in my head when I made his move, even though I changed it to 4. Sooo if you want to say that he's still at the leftmost square of the map and shoot him up, that's fine with me. You do need to get actually all the way off the map to escape, though I've written some supplemental rules about running away that should give pursuers a fair shake at knocking someone out, even if they are lurking at the edge of the map when they decide they want to go. Should be introduced with some other stuff after the next mission.

Fighters A/C/F
Fighter A should move east as far as he can the other fighters should follow him along the 'E' axis. Fire at RED4's Rear end along the way!
Fighters B/D/E
Fighter B should move 2 north followed by east 7 Remaining fighters should copy his movement pattern so that they align at '£2' Fire at RED4's Rear end, you should have a clear shot at it.
Fighter G
Your orders are simpler at least. Move East 4 Move North 1 Move East 5 Fire at RED4's Rear end with the others.
Fighter H
Move East 9, that is all.
