CLINT TRIJO ======================================================================== He's so used to the pencilgun's kick he barely registers it, tightening back on the trigger and feeling the shock against his shoulder and forearm is like breathing. The mobbers are such easy targets; slow and shuffling, the act of intersecting them with his shots hardly requires thinking. He watches as his shot pops apart what would have been a shoulder on a human; ribbons of cobalt flesh bursting away from the wound. Hardly requires thinking. He centers his aim a little more, drops it a little more. The next explodes a traffic-cone sized channel through the mobber's soft midsection. It staggers to the side, bending and nearly folding in half, then straightens up and keeps coming. It's best not to think. It's insides bubble and it's seeping shoulder wound is already scabbing over in the air, bulging outward as it prepares to perform the sudden explosion of mass that will turn it from one creature to two. Don't think about it. His next shot digs another bloody channel through the mobber's upper torso. It's still coming. Don't think, just shoot. The next shot strikes the swollen shoulder-bulb of expanding flesh directly and blasts it apart in an astonishing burst of cobalt blood and raw, hamburgerlike meat. It's beautiful to have a clear goal. Beautiful to have something that blocks out the image of Rhona's dead face. Beautiful to have something that obliterates her loss for just a minute. Beautiful to not think of it. He spears the mobber through the upper torso again, watches it waver on it's feet. It is last mobber standing. It draws the fire of the others and is torn apart by ARC bursts, finally sliding to the roadway like it's many brethren. Clint starts breathing again and lifts his eye from the sight for more targets. There are none. He feels dizzy. Bats' sharp whistle grabs the squad's attention. "Nice fuckin' job! We're pushing up, follow me!" Yeah, the southernmost blip looks like a pack of mongrels which is why I'm risking two veterans to confirm that, but we should be careful and advance on one of the flanks instead of pushing further up the center. Especially since pushing into the center would be walking right into a pincer trap.

Okay stalkers look annoying, but reasonably fragile aside from their low visibility. Let's hope they stay detected instead of disappearing when you run out of range.
B, shoot and move 1 West (stay out of range). D, move toward C and E. Everyone else, sit tight.
